Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining food quality standards, controlling inventory and costs, ensuring hygiene compliance, and delivering an efficient kitchen operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily kitchen operations.
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained.
- Monitor food preparation, portion control, and kitchen productivity.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and food cost control.
- Order food supplies and kitchen equipment as required.
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower during operations.
- Coordinate with management on menu planning and operational improvements.
- Handle kitchen maintenance requirements and equipment upkeep.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the F&B industry, preferably in a supervisory or kitchen management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
- Experience in inventory management, cost control, and staff scheduling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle operational challenges.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
