Job Description
We are looking for a Product Engineer who will be involved in the complete product development process, from hardware/component research and sourcing to product assembly, testing, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand product requirements and assist in product development.
- Research and identify suitable hardware, electronic components, and materials.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for components and materials.
- Compare products, specifications, quality, and pricing.
- Negotiate with vendors and manage procurement requirements.
- Assist in hardware assembly, integration, and prototype development.
- Test components and product prototypes for functionality and performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic hardware/product issues.
- Work with the technical team to improve product design and functionality.
- Maintain product specifications, BOMs, technical documents, and testing records.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams throughout the product development cycle.
- Support the development of the product from concept/prototype to final product.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience can apply.
- Basic understanding of hardware, electronic components, and product development.
- Interest in hands-on product development and hardware work.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, PCB, wiring, components, or prototyping will be an advantage.
- Ability to research components and learn new technologies quickly.
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000/month
