Hiring for Social Compliance Auditor-Seafood Industry

Key Responsibilities & Skills:
· Ability to travel up to 50%
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Experience with social compliance, legal or related operations
· Good local knowledge of health & safety laws and labour regulations in related countries
· Formal training in social compliance, such as SA8000 standard, etc.
· Conduct opening meetings with management teams
· Conduct worker interviews, including with migrant workers and their representation
· Conduct review of documents like payroll, hiring procedures, employee worker files, production records, receiving records,
· Conduct inspection of all areas included in facility (workshop, dormitories, warehouse etc.) if applicable, looking for risks to worker welfare or environmental impacts or food safety concerns or fire safety concerns
· Conduct closing meeting with management teams
· Compilation of findings, observations, notes, etc to a report format to be reviewed by director · Conduct follow up audits, both desktop and in person
· Provide corrective action plan for the factories to improve.
· Review the corrective actions and evidence from suppliers, provide feedback and push for improvement
· Update labour law and health & safety requirement for the relevant sourcing countries.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
