Job Purpose
The Pharmacist shall support Stanley Center India's elderly care and community outreach programs by maintaining medication records for senior citizens, monitoring medicine usage, providing guidance on prescribed medications, and coordinating with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of elderly beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain records of medications prescribed to elderly beneficiaries.
- Review medicine schedules and assist senior citizens in understanding dosage instructions.
- Monitor medication adherence and identify potential concerns related to missed doses or drug interactions.
- Conduct periodic medication reviews for elderly participants enrolled in Stanley Center India programs.
- Coordinate with doctors, hospitals, clinics, and caregivers regarding medication management.
- Maintain confidential health and medication records.
- Assist in organizing health camps, wellness programs, and medicine distribution initiatives.
- Educate elderly beneficiaries and their caregivers on safe storage and usage of medicines.
- Monitor expiry dates and proper storage conditions of medicines maintained under Stanley Center India projects.
- Prepare monthly reports on beneficiary medication records and health-support activities.
Qualifications
- D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
- Experience in community health, geriatric care, or pharmacy practice preferred.
Skills
- Knowledge of common medications used by elderly patients.
- Record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Compassionate approach towards senior citizens.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate with healthcare providers and caregivers.
Reporting
The Pharmacist shall report to the Program Director / Regional Director of Stanley Center India and work closely with healthcare partners involved in elderly care initiatives.
Nature of Engagement
Full-time / Part-time / Project-based as determined by Stanley Center India. Shouldbe from RGUHS Only ( No other University )
Pay: ₹25,900.00 - ₹30,100.00 per month
