Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with the Principal Designer, senior designers and top vendors to translate creative concepts into reality, handle site documentation, and coordinate project execution. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher or someone with early experience to gain end-to-end exposure to luxury interior projects in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting & Detailing: Prepare detailed 2D working drawings, floor plans, electrical layouts, and furniture details using AutoCAD.
- 3D Visualisation: Assist in creating 3D models and rendering realistic views using SketchUp, V-Ray, or 3ds Max.
- Material Sourcing: Research, source, and compile material mood boards (fabrics, laminates, veneers, lighting) from local Mumbai markets and vendors.
- Site Coordination: Visit project sites to take accurate measurements and coordinate layout details with contractors, supervisors, and vendors.
- Client Presentations: Assist in preparing design presentations and maintaining project documentation files.
Requirements & Skills
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in an interior design firm (Freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome).
- Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office.
- Communication: Good communication skills in English and Hindi (to effectively coordinate with both clients and site labour).
- Location: Must be residing in Mumbai and willing to travel locally for site visits.
