Job Summary
The IT Executive is responsible for maintaining the school’s IT infrastructure, providing technical support to staff and students, managing educational technology systems, and ensuring the smooth functioning of hardware, software, and network systems within the school.
Key Responsibilities1. IT Infrastructure Management
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, projectors, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor and maintain the school’s network systems (LAN/Wi-Fi).
- Ensure proper functioning of servers and internet connectivity.
- Maintain backup systems and data security.
2. Technical Support
- Provide technical support to teachers, staff, and students.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in setting up smart classrooms and digital boards.
- Support online classes, exams, and digital learning tools.
3. Software & System Management
- Install and update operating systems and school software.
- Manage School Management Systems (SMS/ERP).
- Maintain antivirus and security software.
- Ensure regular system updates and patches.
4. Data Management & Security
- Maintain data backups and recovery procedures.
- Ensure data privacy and protection policies are followed.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions.
- Monitor system security and prevent unauthorized access.
5. IT Asset Management
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and accessories.
- Track usage, maintenance, and replacement of hardware.
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs and purchases.
6. Website & Digital Services (if applicable)
- Update and maintain the school website.
- Manage email systems and cloud services.
- Support digital platforms used for communication and learning.
7. Training & Support
- Train teachers and staff on using IT tools and software.
- Assist students with computer lab activities.
- Provide guidance on cybersecurity best practices.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Knowledge of computer hardware and networking

- Experience with LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting

Educational Qualifications

OR

Experience Requirements
- 0–2 years for junior IT Executive
- 2–5 years preferred for experienced IT Executive
- Experience in school or educational institution is an advantage
Working Conditions
- Work primarily in computer labs, server rooms, and offices
- May require occasional after-school support or maintenance
- Responsible for handling multiple IT systems simultaneously
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
