Job Description: Production Engineer – Automotive Sensor Line
Job Purpose:
The Production Engineer will be responsible for improving line efficiency, resolving production issues, and
supporting continuous improvement initiatives for various automotive sensors (e.g., T-MAP, EGTS sensors).
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute daily production schedules based on demand and line capacity.
Ensure smooth operation of sensor assembly lines including welding, potting, testing, and calibration
processes.
Monitor and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and drive productivity improvements.
Lead the resolution of technical issues in collaboration with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams.
Implement and sustain lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Poka-Yoke).
Maintain process documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, and control plans.
Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality guidelines (IATF 16949), and company policies.
Conduct training for operators and junior engineers on process changes and equipment.
Coordinate with Design, Quality, and Supply Chain teams for New Product Introductions (NPI) and PPAP trials.
Drive cost optimization by reducing rework, scrap, and cycle times.

Preferred Exposure:

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in production engineering, preferably in automotive electronics/sensor
manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with automated assembly lines, jigs & fixtures, and testing equipment.
Familiarity with quality tools (FMEA, SPC, 8D, Root Cause Analysis).
Strong understanding of sensor manufacturing processes such as laser welding, epoxy potting, functional
testing.
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and production monitoring tools.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
