Job Description (JD)
Position Summary
The QA/QC Lead is responsible for implementing and managing Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities at construction project sites. The role ensures all construction, fabrication, erection, and commissioning activities comply with project specifications, codes, standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and quality procedures.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, ISO standards, and client quality requirements.
Supervise QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
Conduct inspections for:
Civil works
Structural fabrication & erection
Piping works
Welding activities
Electrical & Instrumentation works
Review material test certificates (MTC), calibration records, and inspection reports.
Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and client representatives.
Monitor welding qualifications, WPS/PQR, NDT activities, and quality documentation.
Identify non-conformities (NCR) and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
Conduct internal quality audits and site surveillance.
Maintain quality records, punch lists, and handover dossiers.
Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, standards, and procedures.
Support project commissioning and final documentation activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
Certifications preferred:
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
CSWIP / AWS (for welding-related projects)
NDT Level II certification preferred
Minimum 8–15 years of QA/QC experience in construction/EPC projects.
Experience in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
