Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Manager – Finance who can seamlessly manage multiple responsibilities, coordinate across stakeholders, and ensure strong financial governance. The ideal candidate should be a proactive multitasker with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage end-to-end finance operations independently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary finance point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial processes and requirements.
- Manage vendor, auditor, and consultant interactions with professionalism and timely responses.
2. Revenue Coordination
- Oversee revenue recognition, billing processes, and reconciliation.
- Ensure timely invoicing, follow-up on collections, and address revenue leakages.
- Coordinate with team to validate revenue inputs and ensure accuracy in reporting.
3. Review of Books & Financial Reporting
- Review monthly books of accounts and ensure timely month-end close.
- Analyse financial statements and highlight variances, risks, and business insights.
- Ensure accuracy in accounting entries in line with applicable standards.
4. Policy Development & Process Improvement
- Draft, review, and implement finance-related policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
- Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Audit (Internal & Statutory)
- Lead internal, statutory, and compliance audits end to end.
- Provide necessary documentation, resolve queries, and ensure timely closure of audit issues.
- Ensure audit-readiness throughout the year
6. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other regulatory mandates.
- Timely filing of returns, payments, and coordination with consultants.
- Maintain strong governance and adherence to corporate policies.
7. Additional Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Assist management in decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within timelines.
Skills/Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance with 5–10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Excellent multitasking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial systems, and automation tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high ownership.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines
- Experience in legal / financial services / insurance industry is preferred.
Pay: From ₹800,000.00 per year
