Job Designation : Joint Registrar
Job Summary: The Joint Registrar will be responsible for the overall administration and operational management of the campus, ensuring efficient delivery of academic support services, student discipline, campus infrastructure, and administrative processes. The role will support the Campus Director in maintaining a safe, student-centric, and well-managed campus while ensuring seamless coordination with Registrar of academic and administrative activities.
Oversee the overall administration and day-to-day operations of the campus
Ensure smooth coordination of admissions, examinations, student activities, and academic support services
Maintain student discipline and oversee residential campus administration
Manage campus facilities, including security, hostels, housekeeping, canteen, transport, utilities, and infrastructure
Oversee renewal and management of contracts, licenses, and vendor services
Support the Campus Director/Registrar in implementing academic programmes and administrative initiatives
Monitor MIS and review the performance of administrative functions through periodic assessments to ensure operational effectiveness
Lead administrative teams and ensure compliance with university policies and statutory requirements
Educational Qualification
Minimum 20 years of administrative experience in higher education or a comparable institution
Proven experience in campus administration, residential campus management, student discipline, and academic administration
Experience in reputed national/international institutions or a Defence Services background will be an added advantage
Strong knowledge of campus administration and operational management
Sound understanding of academic administration and university processes
Proven experience in facilities, infrastructure, and support services management
Ability to maintain student discipline and effectively manage residential campus operations
Demonstrated leadership, people management, and team development skills
Proficiency in MIS, administrative reporting, and data management
Experience in vendor management, contract administration, and service delivery
Excellent communication, coordination, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
