Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Safety Engineer to join our construction project team. You will be responsible for identifying workplace hazards, developing site-specific safety plans, and ensuring all activities comply with local and federal safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001). Your goal is to foster a safe work culture while minimizing project delays caused by incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Risk Management: Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments (JHA, FMEA) to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Policy Development: Design and implement comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plans tailored to project needs.
- Incident Investigation: Lead thorough investigations into accidents or near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to legal safety standards and maintain all required documentation, including safety logs and injury reports.
- Safety Training: Organize and conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety induction programs for new workers and contractors.
- Equipment Oversight: Verify that all machinery, tools, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are in safe working condition and used correctly.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and test emergency response plans, including fire safety drills and evacuation procedures.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary link between the site and regulatory bodies or local authorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related engineering field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of demonstrable experience in construction safety or risk management.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or OSHA 30-hour training are highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of safety laws (e.g., OSHA 29 CFR 1926), industrial hygiene, and fire protection systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, effective communication for training, and attention to detail

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
