Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright and experience in the RxClaim / Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) domain.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of healthcare and pharmacy claims applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright.
- Create and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Analyze business requirements and convert them into comprehensive test scenarios and automated test scripts.
- Validate pharmacy claims processing, benefit configurations, formulary management, and adjudication workflows.
- Test healthcare applications across different integration points and business workflows.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
- Perform backend and test data validation using SQL queries.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, risk assessment, and release validation.
- Contribute to automation framework improvements, test coverage, and quality engineering best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or a similar programming language.
- Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright Test.
- Strong understanding of API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
- Strong experience with SQL and database validation.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test management processes.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with RxClaim or similar pharmacy claims applications.
- Experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or healthcare claims processing.
- Understanding of:
- Pharmacy claims adjudication
- Formulary management
- Benefit plans
- Prior authorization
- Member eligibility
- Claims processing workflows
- Experience testing healthcare integrations involving claims, eligibility, provider, and member data.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of performance, security, and accessibility testing.
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
- Exposure to test reporting and observability tools such as Allure, Application Insights, or Splunk.
RxClaim / Healthcare Domain Experience
Candidates with experience in the following areas will be highly preferred:
- RxClaim application and ecosystem.
- Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) processes.
- Pharmacy claims adjudication.
- Healthcare claims and eligibility workflows.
