DPM (DY. PROJECT MANAGER)
A Deputy Project Manager (DPM) in a construction company assists the Project Manager in planning, executing, monitoring, and completing construction projects within time, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
Typical Job Profile / Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Coordination
- Assist in preparing project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure smooth workflow.
- Support procurement and material planning.
2. Site Supervision
- Supervise construction activities at the site.
- Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Check quality of workmanship and materials.
- Resolve on-site technical and operational issues.
3. Progress Monitoring
- Track project progress against timelines.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Identify delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Support milestone achievement and project handover.
4. Cost & Budget Control
- Assist in budget preparation and cost estimation.
- Monitor project expenses and material consumption.
- Verify contractor bills and invoices.
- Help control wastage and optimize resources.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct safety inspections and toolbox meetings.
- Maintain statutory and regulatory documentation.
- Ensure environmental and labor law compliance.
6. Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Attend project meetings with clients and consultants.
- Communicate project updates and resolve client concerns.
- Coordinate approvals and inspections.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project records, drawings, DPRs, and MIS reports.
- Handle contracts, BOQs, RFIs, and change orders.
- Ensure proper filing of technical and commercial documents.

Pay: ₹720,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
