JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience across the JavaScript ecosystem to join our development team. You will work on building and maintaining web applications using React.js on the front end and Node.js (Express or NestJS) on the back end, with exposure to both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases. This role suits someone who has shipped real features, is comfortable owning small to mid-sized modules, and wants to grow into end-to-end product ownership with support from senior developers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with designers, developers, and project leads to build features from requirement to release.
- Develop, test, and maintain web application modules on both front end and back end.
- Build responsive, reusable UI components using React.js and modern component-based patterns.
- Create and consume RESTful APIs using Node.js with Express.js or NestJS.
- Write queries and design basic schemas for both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases under guidance on larger designs.
- Use ORMs/ODMs such as Prisma, Sequelize, TypeORM, or Mongoose for data access, and write raw queries where needed.
- Debug and fix issues across the stack, including performance and cross-browser problems.
- Write clean, readable, and documented code, and participate in code reviews.
- Follow team standards for Git workflow, branching, and deployment.
- Keep learning new tools and practices, and apply them to improve the codebase.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack, Front-End, or Back-End Developer working with JavaScript.
- Good working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Familiarity with TypeScript is a plus.
- Practical experience with React.js, including hooks, state management, and component structure.
- Experience building or contributing to REST APIs with Node.js and Express.js.
- Working knowledge of at least one SQL database (PostgreSQL or MySQL) including joins, basic indexing, and simple query tuning.
- Working knowledge of at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB preferred) including document structure and basic aggregation.
- Comfortable with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and how web applications are structured.
- Exposure to SASS/SCSS or Tailwind, Redis, AWS, Docker, or testing tools (Jest, Vitest) is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
