About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong passion for product development. This position requires not only CAD and engineering skills but also see how a user uses a product. We are looking for someone who can understand a rough product concept, enhance it with features, develop engineering solutions, understands its usability, sense of premium quality and at the same time cost of manufacuring aware.
This role requires a combination of engineering expertise and operational management capabilities. The ideal candidate should be a proactive problem solver, a creative thinker, strong visual sense on aesthetics, and capable of handling end-to-end product development and operational responsibilities.
This job requires someone having good aesthetics sense, attention to details. As we working in product development with various categories, its an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about problem solving, creativity, thinking out of the box.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical products and components using CAD and SolidWorks.
- Manage both engineering and operational aspects of projects.
- Identify technical challenges and provide practical, innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Contribute to product development initiatives from concept to execution.
- Continuously improve processes, designs, and product performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, product design and product development.
- Strong proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks.
- SolidWorks certification is mandatory (candidates must provide a copy of their certification while applying).
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate across time zones.
- Genuine interest and experience in product development.
- Experience with injection molding
- Experience with die casting, bending, stamping, and other metal related forming
- Industrial design experience experience a big plus
