Designation: Android Framework Developer

Position description: Join Visteon's Software Development team as a senior technical leader responsible for driving the design, development, and delivery of advanced automotive software solutions. This role demands deep expertise in embedded systems and automotive software architectures, with a focus on innovation, quality, and scalability. You will lead cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge software that meets stringent automotive industry standards and enhances vehicle performance and safety. The position requires strategic thinking, hands-on coding, and mentoring capabilities to influence both technical direction and team growth within a fast-paced, evolving automotive technology environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Experience in Android Applications, Framework and Native development
- Strong Java, C/C++ programming skills.
- Understanding of Android Boot Sequence and various Framework module architecture.
- Must have worked on Android framework customization extensively (WindowManager, ActivityManager, Zygote, SystemServer Views, Audio, Video, Power Module, etc.)
- Experience on Android HIDL interfaces and HAL implementation and customizations
- Proficient in Android System concepts.
- Strong in fundamentals of IPC and OS concepts.
- Good experience in Android internals (Android AOSP P/Q expertise preferred)
Educational qualifications preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with extensive experience in automotive software development.
