Job Summary
The IPD Billing Executive is responsible for managing the complete billing and discharge process for admitted patients. The role includes generating accurate bills, coordinating with insurance providers and TPAs, ensuring timely discharge clearances, and maintaining compliance with hospital billing policies and healthcare schemes.
Key Responsibilities1. Bill Generation
- Prepare accurate interim and final bills for admitted patients.
- Verify room charges, pharmacy bills, investigations, procedures, and other hospital services.
- Ensure all charges are correctly captured in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Resolve billing discrepancies before final bill generation.
2. Insurance & TPA Coordination
- Process cashless and reimbursement claims for insurance patients.
- Coordinate with TPAs, insurance companies, and corporate desks for approvals and settlements.
- Maintain complete documentation required for claim processing.
- Follow up on pending approvals and claim settlements.
3. Discharge Management
- Facilitate smooth and timely patient discharge by ensuring billing clearance.
- Coordinate with clinical, nursing, pharmacy, and support departments for final bill preparation.
- Address patient and attendant queries related to billing and insurance.
- Minimize discharge turnaround time and enhance patient satisfaction.
4. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to hospital billing policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Process claims under government healthcare schemes such as Aarogyasri and other applicable programs.
- Reconcile daily collections and billing transactions.
- Generate and maintain billing, revenue, and collection reports for management review.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
