About the Role
We are looking for a Design Engineer – Mechanical to join our R&D team. The role involves mechanical design, development, testing, and validation of dialysis machines and related medical devices, with a focus on fluid systems, mechanical assemblies, and manufacturing-ready designs.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical assemblies, components, and enclosures.
Design and optimize low-pressure hydraulic and fluid management systems.
Perform fluid-flow analysis and mechanical system integration.
Develop 3D models, engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
Design sheet-metal, plastic, machined, and fabricated components.
Conduct prototype development, assembly, testing, and design verification.
Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and design optimization.
Support product transfer, pilot builds, and manufacturing activities.
Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, risk assessment, and root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with Electronics, Embedded Software, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams.
Ensure compliance with applicable medical-device standards and internal quality procedures.
Required Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
3–8 years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
Medical device experience preferred.
Candidates from fluid systems, industrial equipment, automation, automotive, aerospace, or precision engineering may also apply.

Preferred Skills
Fluid-handling systems or medical equipment experience
Knowledge of ISO 13485
Familiarity with IEC 60601
Understanding of ISO 14971
Experience with product verification, validation, and regulatory documentation
Experience working with cross-functional R&D teams
