Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of cost estimation, quantity take-off, billing, and contract administration for building construction projects. The role involves close coordination with site execution, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate budgeting, cost control, and timely project billing.
Key Responsibilities:1. Quantity Estimation & BOQ Preparation
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements.
- Develop and review BOQs for all construction activities.
- Verify quantities submitted by contractors and consultants.
2. Billing & Certification
- Prepare and process contractor bills and client running account (RA) bills.
- Verify subcontractor bills with site progress and work completion.
- Ensure timely certification and processing of bills for payment.
3. Cost Control & Budgeting
- Monitor project cost against approved budgets.
- Identify cost overruns and suggest corrective actions.
- Assist in preparation of project cost reports and forecasts.
- 4. Rate Analysis & Tendering
- Prepare rate analysis for new items and variations.
- Support tendering process and evaluation of subcontractor quotations.
- Assist in finalizing contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
5. Site Coordination
- Coordinate with site engineers for verification of executed quantities.
- Conduct joint measurements with contractors and consultants.
- Resolve discrepancies in billing and site execution records.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain all records related to BOQ, billing, variations, and claims.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and progress billing summaries.
- Ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
* Experience in residential high-rise construction projects
- * Strong knowledge of BOQ, contractor billing, reconciliation & rate analysis
- * Ability to handle quantity takeoff and material consumption tracking
- * Proficiency in Excel & AutoCAD
8–10years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor in a building construction company.
