Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Hotel Management and Hospitality.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessments in accordance with the curriculum.
- Deliver engaging classroom, laboratory, and practical training sessions.
- Mentor and guide students in academics, internships, projects, and career development.
- Conduct research, publish scholarly articles, and participate in conferences, seminars, and faculty development programmes.
- Develop innovative teaching methods and integrate technology into classroom instruction.
- Coordinate industrial visits, internships, guest lectures, workshops, and placement activities.
- Participate in curriculum development, accreditation processes, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Perform examination duties, evaluation, and academic administrative responsibilities.
- Contribute to departmental events, student activities, and institutional development.
Eligibility
- Master's Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management or a relevant discipline with a consistently strong academic record.
- NET/SLET/Ph.D. qualification is desirable as per applicable regulatory norms.
- Prior teaching experience in a college or university is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant industry experience in hotels, hospitality, or tourism will have an added advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching, research, innovation, and student mentoring.
