About Media Waley
Media Waley is a creative media and talent management company specializing in artist management, digital marketing, content production, and brand collaborations. We are looking for a creative and passionate Content Writer with experience in non-fiction television and digital shows who can develop engaging, audience-driven content across multiple entertainment formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, conceptualize, and write compelling content for non-fiction shows, including reality, talent, comedy, lifestyle, travel, game, and talk show formats.
- Develop show concepts, episode structures, scripts, voice-overs, cue sheets, and presenter links.
- Create engaging storytelling that aligns with the show's theme and target audience.
- Brainstorm fresh content ideas and innovative show formats.
- Write scripts for anchors, hosts, contestants, and promotional content.
- Collaborate closely with the creative, production, and direction teams throughout the content development process.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and relevance.
- Modify scripts and concepts based on creative feedback and production requirements.
- Assist in writing promotional content, teasers, digital campaigns, and social media content related to ongoing productions.
- Stay updated with current entertainment trends, OTT platforms, television formats, and audience preferences.
Required Skills
- Excellent command of Hindi and English (written and verbal).
- Strong scriptwriting and storytelling abilities.
- Deep understanding of non-fiction television and digital entertainment formats.
- Creative thinking with the ability to generate original ideas.
- Strong research and interviewing skills.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of audience engagement and content trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Media Studies, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in writing for television, OTT platforms, YouTube shows, production houses, or digital media.
- Prior experience working on reality shows, talent shows, talk shows, documentaries, podcasts, or branded content will be preferred.
- Familiarity with production workflows is an added advantage.
