Role Summary
This role focuses on developing and managing detailed BIM models throughout all project stages while ensuring coordination with multiple disciplines. The position involves producing accurate construction documentation, maintaining design standards, and incorporating client and site feedback. The professional will support project teams during design development and execution, ensuring integrated and compliant design delivery.Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Design and Detailing in Revit
- Develop detailed architectural designs and drawings using Autodesk Revit across various project stages.
- BIM Model Development and Management
- Create and manage BIM models for concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction documentation phases.
- Multidisciplinary Design Coordination
- Coordinate with planning, structural, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure integrated and coordinated design delivery.
- Working Drawings and Construction Documentation
- Prepare working drawings, GFCs, and detailed construction documentation for execution on site.
- Standards, Codes, and Client Compliance
- Ensure all models and drawings comply with project standards, relevant codes, regulations, and client requirements.
- Clash Detection and Model Coordination
- Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using BIM tools such as Navisworks.
- Design Revisions and Site Coordination
- Assist in reviewing and updating designs based on site conditions, client feedback, and evolving project requirements.
- Documentation and Version Control
- Maintain proper documentation, file organization, and version control of all drawings and BIM models.
- Project Team Support
- Support project teams during design development and execution phases with accurate models and drawings.
Must Have
Essential requirements
- Software Proficiency
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture) is mandatory, with knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other design tools preferred.
- BIM Knowledge
- Good understanding of BIM workflows, coordination processes, clash detection, and multidisciplinary integration.
- Architectural and Construction Knowledge
- Sound understanding of architectural planning, detailing, and construction practices, including reading and interpreting drawings.
- Codes and Regulations
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and standards applicable to architectural projects.
- Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent, with certification or formal training in Revit/BIM.
- Domain Experience
- Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects, preferably within a multi-disciplinary design environment and large-scale or township developments.
- Personal Attributes
- Proactive, self-motivated team player with strong collaboration skills, able to handle multiple projects and adapt to new technologies.
