Job Summary
Mind Meadow is looking for a qualified and dedicated Special Educator to work with children requiring academic, behavioural, developmental, and learning support within a multidisciplinary clinical setup. The candidate should be capable of planning individualized educational interventions and working collaboratively with therapists, psychologists, and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individualized special education sessions for children with developmental and learning needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on each child’s requirements
- Work on academic skills, cognitive development, behaviour management, social interaction, and adaptive functioning
- Maintain session records, progress reports, and documentation accurately
- Coordinate with psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and behavioural therapists for integrated intervention planning
- Guide parents regarding home strategies, academic support, and child progress
- Create a structured, supportive, and child-friendly learning environment
- Participate in case discussions, review meetings, and multidisciplinary planning sessions
- Maintain professionalism, ethical conduct, and confidentiality at all times
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed. in Special Education (Mandatory)
- Valid RCI License/Registration (Mandatory)
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of learning disabilities, ASD, ADHD, developmental delays, and behavioural concerns
- Good communication and parent handling skills
- Strong documentation and reporting abilities
- Patience, empathy, and child-centred approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
