Profile: IT Security Compliance Associate

Position Details

Position: IT Security Compliance Associate
Department: Project Management Office (PMO)
Reports to: Head – Program Management
Grade: To be determined

Qualifications

Education: B. Tech/B. E. in Computer Science or IT, or similar related field, from an institute of repute; or BSC.
Certifications (If any): IT or Information Security (like CompTIA Security+, CEH)
Experience: 1 to 2 years
Industry Preference: NA

To support the execution and tracking of IT security testing activities.

About the Role

The IT Security Compliance Associate will be responsible for coordinating and tracking IT security testing activities.

Broad Responsibilities

The IT Security Compliance Associate will support the execution and tracking of IT security testing activities. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely completion of scheduled security tests and helping with documentation and follow-ups.

Detailed Responsibilities

Supporting the scheduling and tracking of security testing activities in coordination with internal teams (e.g., IT, Infosec, Projects) and external security vendors
Assisting in maintaining security testing calendars and logs
Coordinating with teams and vendors to ensure timely execution and closure of security testing tasks
Tracking and following up on open items or observations from security tests
Preparing basic reports and updates on the status of ongoing testing activities for review by senior team members
Maintaining documentation and records related to security testing and compliance activities

Preferred Knowledge, Skill & Ability

1–2 years of experience in IT or Information Security support or coordination roles
Good organizational and coordination skills
Basic understanding of IT security concepts is an advantage
Willingness to learn about security testing processes and tools
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting
Good communication skills to work with internal teams and external vendors
Ability to follow processes, checklists, and timelines
Interest in developing a career in cybersecurity and compliance
