- Monitor and assess critically ill patients’ condition (vital signs, neurological status, etc.)
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed
- Operate and manage life-support equipment (ventilators, infusion pumps, monitors)
- Assist in emergency procedures and resuscitation (CPR, code blue)
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for patient care plans
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients’ families
- Ensure infection control protocols and safety standards are followed
- Prepare patients for procedures, tests, and surgeries
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Required Qualifications:
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)
- Valid nursing registration/license (e.g., State Nursing Council)
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in ICU/Critical Care (freshers may be considered in some settings)
