Key roles include installing electrical panels, motors, and conduits, performing testing (continuity/earthing), and repairing faults. They ensure safety compliance and collaborate with teams to complete projects.
Key Responsibilities in Construction
- Installation & Setup: Installing electrical wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, conduits, and panels for new constructions, following technical diagrams and building codes.
- Safety & Testing: Inspecting electrical systems and components for hazards, using tools like multimeters to test continuity, voltage, and earthing to ensure safe, functional systems.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpreting blueprints and schematics to determine the location of circuits, outlets, and electrical equipment.
- Maintenance & Repair: Performing preventive maintenance, repairing damaged equipment, and fixing wiring or fixtures on site.
- Project Collaboration: Working alongside other construction professionals (plumbers, engineers, contractors) to ensure electrical installations are completed on schedule
