JOB DESCRIPTION – FLOOR QUALITY CONTROLLER (FQC)

Location: Service Center, Enchakkal, Thiruvananthapuram
Position: Floor Quality Controller (FQC)
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor the quality of vehicle repair and service work on the workshop floor.
- Ensure jobs are completed as per Job Card and Mahindra standards.
- Inspect vehicles during the repair process and identify quality issues.
- Coordinate with technicians and Service Advisors for rectification.
- Reduce rework, repeat jobs and customer complaints.
- Ensure proper workshop process and safety standards are followed.
- Conduct quality checks before vehicle delivery.
- Report quality issues to the Workshop Manager.
Relevant Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in an automobile workshop/service center.
- Experience as FQC, Quality Controller, Workshop Technician, Team Leader or Floor Supervisor is preferred.
- Experience in Mahindra or other authorized automobile dealerships will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- Diploma holders with relevant automobile workshop experience will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of automobile repair and service.
- Quality-conscious and detail-oriented.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to identify technical and workmanship issues.
- Good knowledge of workshop processes.
