Job Summary:
A Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting laboratory tests, preparing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and supporting scientific research or medical diagnostics. They ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with laboratory procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, prepare, and label samples for testing and analysis.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and experiments.
- Operate, clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Record, analyze, and report test results accurately.
- Follow laboratory safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals.
- Assist scientists, researchers, or medical staff with experiments and investigations.
- Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Laboratory Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards.
- Ability to operate laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good record-keeping and documentation abilities.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous laboratory or research experience.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures.
- Experience using laboratory software and diagnostic tools.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
