Key Account Manager – Modern Trade & Category Development

About the Role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, growth-focused Key Account Manager to help build one of India's most exciting wipes platforms across Baby Care, Pet Care, Feminine Hygiene, Personal Care, and Bath & Body categories.
This role goes beyond traditional account management. You will own key customer relationships, drive category expansion, unlock private label opportunities, launch new products, and build scalable revenue streams across Modern Trade, Pharmacy, Beauty, Specialty Retail, and Emerging Channels.

- Deliver sales, revenue, and profitability targets through annual business plans and joint growth initiatives.
- Drive product listings, distribution expansion, shelf visibility, merchandising, and promotional activations.
- Identify and develop private label, contract manufacturing, and exclusive brand partnership opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and key decision-makers across retail chains.
Category Development & Innovation
- Identify opportunities for new product launches, pack formats, and channel-specific innovations.
- Track market trends, consumer insights, competitor activity, pricing, and promotions.
- Work closely with product development teams to bring new ideas and customer-led solutions to market.
Commercial & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Negotiate annual agreements, commercial terms, trade schemes, promotions, and listing fees.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Production teams to ensure seamless forecasting, inventory planning, and execution.
- Lead business reviews and present growth opportunities and action plans to management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5–10 years of experience in Key Account Management, Modern Trade, or Retail Sales.
- Proven track record managing large Modern Trade, Pharmacy, Beauty, or Specialty Retail accounts.
- Experience in FMCG, Personal Care, Hygiene, Consumer Healthcare, Beauty, Baby Care, Pet Care, or related categories.
- Prior exposure to wipes, personal hygiene products, skincare, tissues, cotton products, or adjacent consumer categories is preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.
- Understanding of category management, trade marketing, retail economics, and promotional planning.
- Experience launching or scaling emerging consumer brands is an advantage.
- Self-starter with an ownership mindset and a passion for building businesses.

Pay: ₹1,300,000.94 - ₹2,000,000.17 per year
