We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Associate to manage procurement activities for our hospitality operations. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing vendors, purchasing materials and supplies, maintaining inventory coordination, and ensuring timely procurement of quality products at competitive prices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in procurement of food, beverages, housekeeping supplies, kitchen equipment, and operational materials.
- Generate purchase orders and follow up with vendors for timely deliveries.
- Compare quotations and negotiate pricing, quality, and payment terms with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with stores, kitchen, housekeeping, and operations teams to understand procurement requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure uninterrupted supply of materials.
- Verify delivered items against purchase orders and quality standards.
- Maintain vendor databases and develop strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and hospitality industry standards.
- Support monthly inventory audits and cost-control initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of hospitality procurement processes and inventory systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement software/ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good analytical and organizational abilities.
