We are looking for a motivated Service Engineer to support our electronics sales and service operations. The candidate will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, understanding customer requirements, explaining products and services, preparing quotations, and supporting the sales process from enquiry to order confirmation.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries through phone calls and other communication channels.
- Understand customer requirements related to industrial electronics products and services.
- Explain product features, specifications, pricing, and service details to customers.
- Generate and follow up on sales enquiries and leads.
- Coordinate with the technical/service team to understand customer requirements.
- Prepare and share quotations with customers.
- Follow up with customers regarding quotations, orders, and payments.
- Maintain customer details, enquiry records, and sales follow-up data.
- Coordinate with customers regarding product delivery and service requirements.
- Build and maintain good customer relationships.
- Support the sales team in achieving monthly sales targets.
- Handle basic documentation related to sales and customer orders.
Required Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of electronics / industrial electronics is preferred.
- Customer handling and follow-up skills.
- Basic sales and negotiation skills.
- Good telephone conversation skills.
- Basic MS Office / Excel knowledge.
- Ability to learn technical products quickly.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a sales-oriented environment.
Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, or related specialization preferred.
