ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee and manage the end-to-end inventory operations at our warehouse in Patancheru. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal stock levels, efficient space utilization, and seamless coordination between procurement, quality inspection, and dispatch teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Stock Management & Procurement Coordination
▸ Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Purchase Manager for timely stock replenishment
▸ Liaise with the Purchase Coordinator to track pending and incoming orders
▸ Receive, inspect, and stock ordered goods in designated warehouse areas
Warehouse Operations
▸ Ensure adequate space is prepared in the warehouse at least one day prior to stock arrival
▸ Regularly reorganize available space to maximize storage capacity and operational efficiency
▸ Coordinate stock movement from storage to quality inspection and dispatch areas as required
▸ Conduct routine checks for dampness, pest activity, or any other sources of damage to packed goods
Inventory Control & Reporting
▸ Issue stock to quality inspectors and the dispatch team based on operational requirements
▸ Perform regular stock-takes for both trading goods and non-trading assets (tools, stationery, housekeeping materials, etc.)
▸ Maintain accurate inventory records and generate periodic stock reports
Damaged Goods & Scrap Management
▸ Coordinate with the Senior Technician to optimally utilize salvaged spare parts from damaged/defective furniture
▸ Manage scrap storage and facilitate its timely disposal to free up warehouse space
Equipment & Tools Management
▸ Maintain smooth operation of all machines and tools used by technicians
▸ Issue tools to technicians as required and ensure their timely return and proper storage
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
▸ Graduate in any discipline
▸ 5 – 10 years of experience in inventory / warehouse management
▸ Prior experience with furniture inventory is strongly preferred
▸ Proficiency in SAP (inventory/warehouse modules)
▸ Strong computer skills — MS Office (Excel, Word) and inventory software
▸ Experience managing blue-collar / warehouse staff
▸ Languages: Telugu, Hindi, and English (spoken & written)
