To safely operate, monitor, and support maintenance of Gas Engine Driven CNG Compressors and
associated equipment for uninterrupted and efficient station operations.
a) Operate and monitor CNG compressors and gas engine systems as per SOPs.
b) Check operational parameters such as pressure, temperature, vibration, lubrication, and
cooling system.
c) Carry out routine inspection of compressors, valves, piping, gauges, and safety systems.
d) Report abnormalities, gas leakage, alarms, and equipment issues immediately.
e) Maintain logbooks, shift reports, and compressor running records.
f) Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
g) Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE usage, OISD/PESO guidelines, and
emergency response practices.
h) Maintain proper housekeeping in compressor and utility areas.
i) Follow safety standards (fire, gas leak, high pressure systems)
j) Handle emergency situations (gas leakage, fire, shutdown)
k) Maintain log sheets (pressure, flow, compressor running hours)
l) Record gas sales and stock levels & report daily operations to supervisor
m) Identify faults in compressor, electrical panels, PLC systems
n) Inform senior engineer if major issue.
o) Monitor electrical supply, panels, and backup systems
p) Check air compressors, cooling systems, and dryers
q) Coordinate with control room and maintenance team.
r) Follow shift handover procedures properly
s) Report incidents immediately
t) Daily check compressor, cascade, dispenser, co2 system & DCP.
u) Daily check oil and coolant level.

Basics of mechanical/electrical knowledge, Understanding of gas properties and pressure systems
a) Basic knowledge of gas engine driven compressors.
b) Understanding of safety systems and emergency shutdowns.
