Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Civil Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of civil structures and facilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building maintenance, team supervision, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance work while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day civil maintenance activities.
- Inspect buildings, offices, classrooms, and other facilities to identify repair and maintenance needs.
- Coordinate and monitor masonry, plumbing, painting, carpentry, waterproofing, and other civil maintenance works.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out on time.
- Allocate work to technicians and contractors and monitor their performance.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, materials used, and work completed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement of materials and services.
- Report maintenance status and major repair requirements to management.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and upkeep of all facilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in civil maintenance, building maintenance, or facility management.
- Freshers with exceptional practical knowledge may also be considered (optional).
Required Skills
- Knowledge of civil maintenance and repair works.
- Understanding of construction materials and maintenance techniques.
- Ability to supervise maintenance staff and contractors.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical coordination, and structural repairs.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to prepare maintenance reports and documentation.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and preventive maintenance practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in educational institutions, commercial buildings, hospitals, or industrial facilities.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is an added advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple maintenance tasks efficiently.
Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
