Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and result-oriented Counsellor for a CSR skill development project. The candidate will be responsible for mobilizing, counselling, and guiding candidates regarding training programs, career opportunities, placement support, and retention. The role includes student engagement, motivation, documentation, and coordination with training and placement teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct counselling sessions for candidates and assess their interests, skills, and career goals
- Guide beneficiaries about available training programs, career pathways, and employment opportunities
- Support candidate enrolment, attendance, motivation, and retention throughout the training period
- Maintain regular follow-up with trainees and address concerns or challenges
- Coordinate with trainers, mobilizers, and placement teams for candidate progress tracking
- Maintain counselling records, reports, and required documentation
- Conduct awareness sessions, orientations, and career guidance workshops
- Ensure achievement of enrolment and retention targets under the CSR project
Eligibility:
Graduate / Postgraduate in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Human Resources, Sociology, or related field (Certification in counselling preferred)
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in counselling, student guidance, skill development, education, CSR, or community engagement
Experience in vocational training / livelihood projects preferred
Skills Required:
- Strong counselling and interpersonal skills
- Good communication and motivational abilities
- Candidate handling, career guidance & counselling
- Documentation and reporting skills
- Knowledge of MS Office and basic data management
- Ability to work with youth and community stakeholders
Preferred:
- Experience in CSR / Skill Development projects
- Local language proficiency is mandatory
- Willingness to travel locally if required
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
