We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Junior Mechanic to join our authorised Ashok Leyland service centre. The candidate will assist senior technicians in the repair, maintenance, and servicing of heavy commercial vehicles while learning workshop operations and service procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior mechanics in vehicle repair and maintenance work.
- Perform basic servicing such as oil change, filter replacement, greasing, and cleaning.
- Support in engine, brake, suspension, clutch, and gearbox related works.
- Inspect vehicles and identify basic mechanical issues.
- Use workshop tools and equipment properly under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop.
- Attend breakdown service support when required.
- Follow company service procedures and workshop guidelines.
- Update job progress to supervisors regularly.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical field preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in automobile workshop/service field.
- Freshers with technical knowledge can also apply.
