· Should able to do Daily Work Distribution in to shop, Manpower and Resources Planning
· Able to do Drawing Reading and Problem Solving in shop.
· should be Familiar with welding process like SMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW.
· Able to Spot check of welding, Review of WPS and welder Qualifications
· Should have basic knowledge about NDT Process LPT, MPT, UT & RT.
· Able to work in SAP/ERP
· Should have basic Knowledge of inspection tools like micrometre, Vernier calliper, thickness meter, Hardness meter, bore scope, Bore dial gauges & pressure gauges etc.
· Should be aware about activity like 5S, KAIZEN, POKAYOKE, and TPM.
· Monitoring and control of welding consumable storage and issuance.
· Monitoring and inspection of Joint preparation, welding consumables and preheating etc., are accordance to WPS and project requirements.
· Should be aware about hydro test, Pneumatic Test of Equipment at Shop
· Should be able to do Visual and dimensional inspection of completed and fabricated part as per drawing.
· Should be aware about Different types of fabrication process like cutting, edge preparation, fit-up, set-up
· Should have Knowledge of Welding related activities such as WPS & PQR’S and WPQ
· Able to do Co-ordination with supporting shop like Pre-fabrication shop, Machine shop and welding dept.
· Able to Co-ordination with Planning dept., Material control, Store, NDT, Auxiliary service.
· Should be involve in Maintaining Quality and safety at Shop floor.
· Should be involved in activities like Maintaining manufacturing good engineering practice
