Job Summary
The Waiter Trainee assists the service team in providing excellent guest service while learning restaurant operations, food service standards, and customer handling procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service
- Greet guests politely and assist them with seating.
- Present menus and explain menu items when required.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards.
- Ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience.
Restaurant Operations
- Prepare tables before service.
- Clear and clean tables after guests leave.
- Refill water glasses and assist guests during meals.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas.
- Assist senior waiters and captains during busy hours.
Learning & Development
- Learn menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Learn restaurant SOPs and service standards.
- Understand billing and POS system operations.
- Participate in training sessions and briefings.
- Learn upselling techniques and customer service skills.
Hygiene & Safety
- Maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Handle restaurant equipment carefully.
- Report any safety concerns immediately.
Requirements
- Minimum 10th/12th pass (Hotel Management students preferred).
- Good communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Physically fit to stand and move for extended periods.

Pay: From ₹12,000.00 per month
