Job Summary
The Senior Interior Designer is responsible for leading interior design projects from concept development to final execution. This role requires strong design expertise, client management skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to mentor junior designers while ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Design Development
- Lead the conceptualization and development of innovative interior design solutions for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare mood boards, space planning layouts, design presentations, and material palettes.
- Develop detailed design concepts aligned with client requirements and company standards.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies.
Client Management
- Conduct client meetings to understand project requirements, lifestyle, and budget.
- Present design concepts, layouts, and material selections professionally.
- Manage client expectations throughout the design process.
- Address design-related concerns and obtain approvals at every project milestone.
- Prepare BOQ
Technical Design
- Prepare and review detailed drawings including:
- Layout plans
- Furniture layouts
- Electrical layouts
- Ceiling plans
- Flooring layouts
- Elevations and sections
- Detailed working drawings
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and execution requirements.
- Coordinate with project execution teams to resolve design queries during implementation.
Project Coordination
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, vendors, and contractors.
- Conduct site visits to ensure design intent is accurately executed.
- Review project progress and recommend design modifications where necessary.
- Participate in site inspections and project handovers.
Vendor & Material Coordination
- Select materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and accessories.
- Coordinate with suppliers for samples, quotations, and procurement.
- Ensure selected materials meet quality and budget requirements.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide junior interior designers.
- Review drawings and presentations prepared by team members.
- Assign tasks and monitor design quality and productivity.
- Promote collaboration and continuous learning within the design team.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, safety standards, and company guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of design accuracy, documentation, and detailing.
- Ensure consistency across all project deliverables.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in interior design.
- Experience handling residential, commercial, hospitality, or luxury interior projects independently.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,600.86 per month
