Human Resource Manager Job Summary
Nirmala Institutions is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the Human Resources function across its institutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, driving talent acquisition, ensuring statutory compliance, enhancing employee engagement, and fostering a high-performance work culture. The role requires strong leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to partner with management in achieving the institution's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and standard operating procedures aligned with institutional objectives.
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including manpower planning, sourcing, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and induction.
- Drive performance management, talent development, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and institutional policies.
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
- Oversee payroll coordination, leave administration, employee records, HRMS, and HR documentation.
- Design and coordinate learning and development programs, leadership initiatives, and employee welfare activities.
- Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports for management to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with Heads of Institutions and Department Heads on workforce planning and organizational development.
- Promote a positive, ethical, and inclusive workplace culture.
- Perform other HR and administrative responsibilities assigned by the Management.
Qualification
- UG/PG with specialization in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution.
- Additional certifications in Labour Laws, HR Analytics, Talent Management, or related HR domains will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
- At least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience in the education sector will be preferred.

- Proficiency in HRMS, Microsoft Office, and HR analytics/reporting.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a solution-oriented approach.
