Working Hours: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Based on Experience)
About Us
We are a UK-based EdTech company providing high-quality online education to students following the UK curriculum. We are looking for an experienced English Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop academic content and support our teaching and academic operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review high-quality English academic content.
- Create worksheets, mock papers, assignments, quizzes, and assessments.
- Prepare answer keys, marking schemes, and detailed solutions.
- Design and format PowerPoint presentations for classroom teaching.
- Proofread and edit educational content to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Support teachers with lesson planning and academic resources.
- Ensure content aligns with the UK Curriculum (KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE, IGCSE, and A-Level).
- Conduct quality checks on study materials before publication.
- Collaborate with teachers and the academic operations team to improve learning resources.
- Meet content development deadlines while maintaining high academic standards.
Required Skills
- Excellent command of English Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading, Writing, and Literature.
- Strong academic content writing and editing skills.
- Experience creating worksheets, mock papers, assessments, and educational resources.
- Good understanding of the UK Curriculum (Primary, KS3, GCSE, IGCSE, or A-Level).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong proofreading and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, English Literature, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an English SME, English Teacher, Academic Content Writer, or Curriculum Developer.
- Experience in the EdTech industry or with international curricula will be an added advantage.
