Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance operations. You will assist in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and reports
- Assist in accounts payable & receivable processes
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Help in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance filings
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and MIS reports
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Basic knowledge of Indian accounting standards and taxation (GST, TDS)
- Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and ability to work in a team
Good to Have
- Experience working in a startup or SaaS company
- Exposure to financial reporting and compliance processes
- Basic understanding of automation tools or AI-driven finance systems
