Job Description: Finance Associate
Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle invoice uploading, processing, and verification on internal systems.
- Assist in invoicing and billing activities, ensuring invoices are accurate and issued on time.
- Ensure timely booking of expenses and maintain accurate records of all expenses.
- Support day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Record and maintain financial transactions accurately.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Work on Tally for accounting entries and basic bookkeeping.
- Use MS Excel for maintaining financial data, reconciliations, reports, and trackers.
- Maintain and organise financial documents and records.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for invoice, expense, and payment-related queries.
- Assist with vendor reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned finance tasks.
Key Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related role.
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance concepts.
- Working knowledge of Tally.
- Good command of MS Excel—basic formulas, sorting/filtering, data management, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with different teams.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
