Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in choosing suitable courses and career paths. The role involves counselling, lead conversion, and maintaining strong relationships with students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding academic programs, career options, and course selection
- Handle inbound and outbound leads (calls, walk-ins, online inquiries)
- Convert enquiries into admissions by effective follow-up
- Provide detailed information about courses, eligibility, and career outcomes
- Maintain student records and update CRM systems regularly
- Coordinate with the admissions and marketing teams
- Organize and participate in seminars, webinars, and outreach programs
- Build and maintain relationships with students, parents, and institutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in academic counselling / sales / education sector
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malayalam (Hindi is a plus)
- Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills
- Ability to meet targets and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools
