Job Summary
The Retail Sales Promoter is responsible for promoting the company's food products, engaging customers, driving sales, maintaining attractive product displays, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Service
- Welcome customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Promote and explain the features and benefits of the company's food products.
- Recommend products based on customer preferences and requirements.
- Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to increase average billing value.
- Conduct product sampling and tasting sessions whenever required.
Product Display & Merchandising
- Maintain attractive product displays as per company standards.
- Ensure products are properly stocked, labelled, and priced.
- Monitor product freshness and expiry dates.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of shelves, counters, and display units.
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist in stock receiving, counting, and replenishment.
- Ensure proper storage of products according to company guidelines.
Customer Relationship
- Build positive relationships with customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints politely.
- Collect customer feedback and share insights with management.
Operational Responsibilities
- Follow all company SOPs and retail policies.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Comply with food safety, hygiene, and FSSAI guidelines.
- Coordinate with store staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Prepare daily sales and stock reports as required.
