Job Overview
Baseline is looking for an MEP Draftsman with experience in industrial and commercial projects. The role involves preparing detailed MEP drawings, coordinating with design engineers, and supporting multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop HVAC, piping, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and utility layouts.
- Prepare shop drawings, detailed layouts, sections, and installation drawings.
- Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, structural engineers, and project teams.
- Update drawings based on design revisions and project requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
- Maintain drawing registers and documentation records.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and preparation of as-built drawings.
- Support multidisciplinary coordination and drawing reviews.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and utility drawings.
- Familiarity with MEP drafting standards and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP will be preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience in industrial and commercial projects preferred.
- Good coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
