Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Kinathukadavu, Pollachi main road, Coimbatore

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is as comfortable behind a CAD workstation as they are on the shop floor. You will be a key player in our product development team, taking ownership of projects from initial whiteboarding sessions to final production-ready designs.
Our ideal candidate doesn’t just design parts; they design solutions. You should have a "fail fast, learn faster" mentality and a sharp eye for the tiny details that make a product reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3D Modeling & Drafting: Develop complex assemblies and detailed 2D drawings using [SolidWorks/Creo/CATIA] including strict adherence to GD&T standards.
- Analysis: Perform FEA (stress, thermal, vibration) and hand calculations to validate designs before prototyping.
- DFM/DFA: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for [Injection Molding / CNC Machining / Sheet Metal / Assembly].
- Prototyping: Build and test functional prototypes; lead the "tear-down" analysis to identify root causes of failure.
- BOM Management: Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation within our PLM system.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
- Experience: Fresher / 1 years in a product design or manufacturing environment.
- CAD Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Creo is non-negotiable.
- Materials Knowledge: Deep understanding of metals, plastics, and finishing processes.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders (and the patience to do so).
