We are looking for a highly competent and strategic Head – Finance & Accounts to lead the Finance Function of the Group and support management in achieving its growth objectives.
Position Summary
The Head – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for leading the entire Finance & Accounts Department of the Group and ensuring financial discipline, compliance, profitability analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, treasury operations, and strategic financial planning.
The position will serve as a key business partner to the Managing Director and Directors by providing financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts function across all group companies and business divisions.
- Act as a financial advisor to the Managing Director and Board of Directors.
- Develop financial strategies aligned with the Group’s growth plans.
- Support business expansion, investments, acquisitions, and capital expenditure decisions.
- Drive financial governance and internal control systems.
Financial Reporting & MIS
- Ensure timely preparation of:
- Monthly Profit & Loss Statements
- Balance Sheets
- Cash Flow Statements
- Fund Flow Statements
- Management Information Reports (MIS)
- Present monthly financial performance reports to management.
- Develop dashboards and KPI reporting systems for business monitoring.
- Analyze trends and provide actionable recommendations.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
- Lead annual budgeting and financial planning processes.
- Prepare rolling forecasts and business projections.
- Conduct budget variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor achievement of financial targets across business units.
Profitability & Cost Management
- Develop systems for:
- Product-wise profitability analysis
- Customer-wise profitability analysis
- Business unit profitability analysis
- Channel-wise profitability analysis
- Monitor Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), manufacturing costs, overheads, and operating expenses.
- Recommend initiatives to improve margins and profitability.
Working Capital & Treasury Management
- Monitor and optimize:
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Inventory Levels
- Working Capital Cycle
- Manage banking relationships and treasury functions.
- Ensure adequate liquidity and efficient utilization of funds.
- Develop cash flow forecasts and funding plans.
Statutory Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with:
- GST
- Income Tax
- TDS
- Companies Act
- PF & ESI related financial requirements
- Other applicable laws and regulations
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities.
- Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Finance Systems & Process Improvement
- Drive ERP implementation and financial automation initiatives.
- Establish strong internal controls and approval workflows.
- Improve accounting accuracy and reporting efficiency.
- Standardize financial processes across all business units.
Team Leadership
- Lead the following functional divisions:
- Day-to-Day Accounting & P&L
- Budgeting, Forecasting, Finance & Treasury
- Statutory Compliance, GST & Audit
- Manage and mentor:
- Centralized Accounts Team
- Unit Accountants
- Tax & Compliance Team
- Build a high-performance finance organization.
Candidate Profile
Qualification
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Preferred
- CMA / ICWA
- MBA Finance
- M.Com with relevant experience
Experience
- Minimum 8–15 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- At least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Experience in manufacturing industries is mandatory.
- Exposure to plywood, building materials, FMCG, or process manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
