Job Description: Field TechnicianPosition Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Field Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a field environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and commission equipment at customer locations.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Diagnose technical issues and identify the root cause of equipment failures.
- Respond to service calls and resolve customer issues within required timelines.
- Conduct equipment testing and ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate service reports, installation records, and maintenance documentation.
- Explain equipment operation and basic troubleshooting procedures to customers.
- Coordinate with the service, engineering, and operations teams when required.
- Follow company procedures, technical standards, and health and safety requirements.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, spare parts, and company assets in good working condition.
- Travel to customer sites as required.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma, ITI, or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience in field service, equipment installation, maintenance, or technical support.
