Role Overview
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented, disciplined, and quality-conscious E-Commerce Packaging & Order Fulfilment Executive to manage the complete execution of customer orders from picking to dispatch. The ideal candidate will ensure 100% order accuracy, exceptional packaging standards, and seamless coordination with shipping partners.
As we deal with premium and delicate products, including luxury fountain pens, inks, notebooks, and accessories, packaging quality is critical. The successful candidate will take ownership of ensuring every order reaches customers safely, accurately, and beautifully presented.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing & Product Picking
- Retrieve products from inventory strictly according to customer orders.
- Verify SKU, model, color, nib size, variant, and quantity before packing.
- Ensure complete order accuracy and eliminate picking errors.
- Cross-check products against invoice and order details before dispatch.
- Follow FIFO and inventory handling procedures where applicable.
Quality Control & Verification
- Conduct thorough quality checks on all products before packaging.
- Inspect products for defects, damages, missing components, scratches, leaks, or packaging issues.
- Verify authenticity, accessories, manuals, warranty cards, converters, cartridges, gift boxes, and other included items.
- Escalate any discrepancies immediately to supervisors.
Premium Packaging Execution
- Package products with extreme care to prevent transit damage.
- Handle luxury pens, glass ink bottles, limited editions, and collector items according to established packaging standards.
- Use appropriate protective materials including cushioning, bubble wrap, protective sleeves, corner guards, and tamper-proof sealing.
- Ensure all parcels meet Makoba's premium unboxing standards.
- Create a packaging experience that reflects the premium nature of the brand.
- Ensure parcels are neat, aesthetically pleasing, secure, and professionally presented.
Shipping & Dispatch Management
- Generate shipping labels accurately through courier platforms.
- Print and affix shipping labels clearly and correctly.
- Verify customer name, address, contact number, and shipment details before dispatch.
- Generate invoices, packing slips, manifests, and courier documentation as required.
- Coordinate handover with logistics and courier partners.
- Ensure timely dispatch of orders according to SLA commitments.
Order Ownership
- Take complete responsibility for the execution of assigned orders from picking through dispatch.
- Maintain accountability for accuracy, packaging quality, and shipment readiness.
- Ensure all orders are packed and dispatched within defined timelines.
- Track pending orders and proactively resolve fulfillment bottlenecks.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Maintain organized storage locations and warehouse cleanliness.
- Report inventory discrepancies, shortages, damages, or stock issues.
- Assist with stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory verification.
- Ensure products are stored safely and handled appropriately.
Customer Experience Focus
- Understand that every shipment represents the Makoba brand experience.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail in presentation and packaging.
- Support gift packaging, personalized orders, and special customer requests when required.
- Contribute ideas to improve packaging quality and customer satisfaction.
Process Compliance
- Follow SOPs, quality standards, and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate fulfilment records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with courier, shipping, and packaging requirements.
- Adhere to workplace safety and warehouse best practices.

- Familiarity with courier portals, shipping software, and inventory systems.
- Understanding of packaging materials and safe shipping practices.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
